Grief Programs

Our grief programs create supportive, trauma-informed spaces for individuals and communities to navigate loss with compassion and care. Through embodied grief circles, workshops, retreats, and courses, we integrate somatic practices, mindfulness, and education to honor the uniqueness of each person’s journey. These offerings invite you to gently explore your experience, cultivate resilience, and discover connection and meaning—even in the midst of grief.

    Embodied Grief Circle

Join a Compassionate Circle to Explore Your Grief Through Embodied Practices.

Embodied Grief Circles are a gentle space to gather in community, honor loss, and find support. Through guided reflection, somatic practices, and shared connection, we create room to witness one another’s grief and nurture healing together.

    Circles are held virtually.

  • Workshops

Our workshops offer experiential practices that weave together somatic movement, mindfulness, and reflection to support those navigating grief. Each session is designed to create space for personal insight, embodied healing, and shared connection, whether in a single gathering or as part of a longer journey.

Workshops may be held virtually or in-person.

    Retreats

Our retreats invite you to step away from daily demands and enter a nurturing space for rest, reflection, and renewal. Through embodied practices, guided workshops, and time in community, you’ll have the opportunity to tend to your grief with spaciousness and care. These gatherings offer deeper immersion and gentle support as you move through your healing journey.

Retreats may be held virtually or in-person.

Scope of Practice

The Embodied Grief Journey™ offers coaching to individuals navigating:

  • Grief and loss

  • Life transitions and emotional overwhelm

  • Nervous system dysregulation

  • Disconnection from the body due to trauma or chronic stress

  • A desire for deeper self-awareness and embodied healing

Our work is rooted in:

  • Trauma-informed grief education

  • Somatic and nervous system-based tools

  • Polyvagal-informed breath and movement practices

  • Restorative yoga and meditation

  • Mindfulness, visualization, and seasonal/nature-based reflection

  • Compassionate, present-moment listening and co-regulation

We do not provide therapy, clinical trauma processing (e.g., EMDR, CBT), mental health diagnoses, or medical treatment. Coaching is most appropriate for individuals who are emotionally stable and ready to explore growth through non-clinical, body-based practices.

Referrals to licensed professionals will be made when support outside the scope of coaching is needed.

At The Embodied Grief Journey™, we aim to create a safe enough space for you to explore the tender terrain of grief, gently reconnect with your body, and nurture your healing path. We walk beside you—not as someone with answers, but as a steady presence holding space for what wants to unfold.
