Gardening for Presence and Healing

  • The Embodied Grief Journey Portland, Or (map)

This course offers structured, guided support for cultivating resilience through simple, accessible gardening practices. Blending somatic awareness, mindfulness, and reflective exercises, each session uses the garden as a metaphor for growth, grounding, and renewal.

Designed for beginners and experienced plant-lovers alike, this course focuses less on horticultural technique and more on tending to the self — building daily rituals that support presence, nervous system regulation, and gentle personal development.

Offered online through Portland Community College.
Beginner-friendly. No prior gardening experience required.
